Comprehensive Therapy Programs
Pre-Natal Care

A program designed to help women to cope with the aches and pains that can accompany pregnancy. Whether it's low back pain, hip pain, wrist pain, ankle pain, general fatigue and soreness, we have seen it all. No two pre-natal programs are ever the same. We adapt and modify to each patients' needs and levels.
Scoliosis
Pre-Teen and Teenagers are prime candidates for developing scoliosis during their growth spurts. Most "S" curves are subtle, some are more pronounced. Not every "S" curve can be 100% corrected. A correct stretching and strengthening program, however, may be able to halt progression and lessen the effects.
Whiplash Injuries
Getting into a car accident is no fun. Suffering a Whiplash Injury can make even the most simple of tasks, daunting. We will utilize thermal modalities to help ease the pain and relax the neck muscles and soft tissue massage to break up the tension. By placing you in a correct stretching program and gradually working in strengthening exercises, you will see how our Whiplash program has shown tremendous success in helping patients recover. Our goal is to wean you off the collar, restore your neck motion, help you sleep comfortably, get your neck and arm strength back and have you return to your prior level of function.
Sports Injuries
The Physical Therapy of Woburn’s staff is trained with handling all sports injuries from shoulder separations, hip and thigh injuries, knee injuries (Osgood-Schlatter Disease, Osteochondritis Dissecans, Patella Tendonitis/Dislocations), ankle sprains (Severs Disease, Achilles Tendonitis, Turf Toe), groin and hamstring pulls, tennis elbow, golf elbow, etc. Our staff is also trained in various sports taping techniques. Regardless of the sport, our goal is to have you return to your optimal level.
Back School
Part boot camp part palliative care, our Back School program focuses not only in returning your neck, low back and core to it’s original level, but to exceed that level. While we want your back to be stronger, we want to make it feel better. Our staff is trained in helping get that neck pain or back pain under control to maximize your sessions here.
Pediatric Sports Injuries
From spraining an ankle, twisting a knee, hurting a shoulder or wrist, their are many bumps and bruises that our young athletes can sustain. Common conditions like Patella-Femoral Syndrome, Osgood-Schlatter Disease, Severs Disease as well. We will personalize a treatment plan that is sport specific so your young athlete will be back on the field as soon as possible. Also, many of our younger athletes stay on after they return to the field to continue on their strengthening program.
